Michael is an experienced executive with more than 20 years in the payments industry, having worked across the entire transaction value chain. His career spans roles in networks, processing, and issuing for major banks, credit unions, FinTech companies, and payment processors. Michael has led key initiatives such as payment modernization, the launch of the Tangerine credit card, and the optimization of payment products and operations.

Scott Lapstra

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Scott brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in Canadian financial services, with a strong track record in building and scaling high-growth businesses. Specializing in the Canadian payments industry, Scott spent 18 years in executive roles, including 5 years at Tangerine Bank, where he led the development and launch of their award-winning consumer credit card program.
